Brief & approach
The brief
Beyerdynamic wanted a dedicated display to strengthen the presence of its professional headphones in studios and connect the brand with artists and studio professionals. The system needed to accommodate headphone cables, in-ear headphones and microphones while adapting to different layouts, available wall space and product requirements.
My approach
I developed a modular, expandable system with interchangeable components, retractable trays and subtle integrated lighting, allowing different configurations to suit the space and product range. Working closely with sales, the client, technical drafting and production quality assurance, I helped carry the design through to manufacture while maintaining its premium appearance and practical functionality.
Outcome
The display was manufactured and installed at multiple locations as designed and approved. Its modular concept was subsequently adapted into a road case for artists and brands to take on the road.
